We stayed in Dominica for about a month, waiting for cruising friends to come down-island. First we went up the Indian River with two local "boat boys," more officially called "Indian River Tour Guide Association."  Later, we went on a whole-island tour, past the Carib Reservation, to Chaudier Pool, the red clay geological area, and Emerald Pool.
